CANCELLATIONS / RUNNING LATE
In consideration of our other guests and your service provider we ask that if you need to cancel an appointment, please allow as much notice as possible.
If you are running a little late, please understand that every effort will be made to still deliver the service. However, appointments may have to be rescheduled or modified.
In order to reserve any color, chemical or extension service appointments we require a credit card must be provided at the time of booking to hold the reservation. Failure to cancel a reservation less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the reserved service price.
Any guest that has frequently missed or rescheduled appointments will be required to provide us with their credit card information for future reservations.
All services begin with a thorough consultation—the most important part of the experience. We make every effort to listen and discuss exactly what our guests are expecting. As desired outcomes are discussed, we ask our guests to voice any issues, concerns, allergies or medical conditions—we’re here for you and want you to be 100% satisfied. Our service providers will also offer product recommendations, as well as discuss routine maintenance. Before the service is performed, stylists will discuss the process as well as the products that will be used. We will do our best to give accurate pricing and timing predictions on color changes and corrections. Please understand some service requests will take multiple visits.
AVEDA products may be returned for Scott J store credit within 14 days of purchase with a Scott J receipt.
Hair Brushes, Supplements, Makeup and Color Wow products cannot be returned and are all final sale items.
GUEST SAFETY AND CHILDREN
To ensure the safety of our guests/staff, and to allow us to give each guest our undivided attention, only the person receiving the service is permitted on the styling floor. Except in the case of Children under 11, they must be accompanied by an adult. There are guest waiting areas located in a variety of locations throughout the salon in the event that you have a guest waiting for you.
We kindly request that you do not talk on the phone while being shampooed or having chemicals applied. We cannot be held responsible if phones are damaged during a service. When talking on the phone in the Salon please be considerate of those around you can keep the conversation level low.
MISCELLANEOUS / PAYMENTS
Scott J Salons is not responsible for lost, missing, damaged or items left behind.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Digital Pay, Discover and cash are all accepted methods of payment.
